Information
Cationic retarder for dyeing Acrylic fiber
Properties
- Appearance: pale yellow clear liquid.
- Ionic activity: cationic.
- pH value (1% slu.): 5.5 6.5.
- Main component: amine derivate.
- Solubility: easily dilutable with cold water.
- Storage: if Taigal PAN exposes below 10℃ for long time, it may freeze. Move it to room temperature and mix well before using.
Features
- Taigal PAN is an economical retarder for dyeing Acrylic fiber.
- Taigal PAN provides the retardation required for perfect result, especially for the Acrylic fibers with a high saturation value.
- Taigal PAN exhibits strong penetrating effect and low foam properties.
Application
- The quantity of Taigal PAN required depends on the DC value, f-value of retarder, F-value of fibers and dye concentration. The following formulation offers a simple method to estimate the quantity of Taigal PAN:
[math]\text{The quantity of Taigal PAN} =\dfrac{\text{F-value of fibers X DC} – \text{DX}}{\text{f-value of PAN}}[/math]
DX = f-value of dyes x X% dyes
DC = 70% ~ 80% - When stripping and leveling out faulty dyeing, carried out in a high liquor ratio with the addition of 2~4% o.w.f. Taigal PAN and X% dyes.
Disclaimer: Due to differences in scanning equipment and monitor settings, the color of the fiber in the scanned technology data sheet may vary. For accurate color assessment, please inquire.
